Geoelectric methods are used to study the groundwater resources. These methods are applied also on the engineering geological and archaeological research for the detection of caves, hollows, caves, areas of fracture and metal objects.


The Cavefinder is a geoelectrical measurement device to facilitate the rapid location of underground cavities, caves and arches structures. The detection of the tombs, Chambers, tunnels and chambers of hidden treasures is carried out automatically after starting the process of measurement in the control unit. By the tracking device integrated analysis of data, the output of measurement results directly on the screen of the Cavefinder.

Cavefinder is only for the detection of characteristic geological nonmetallic underground anomalies, such as:


Tombs, graves and burial chambers

Caves and tunnel

non-metallic objects how carrales, containers or similar


The Cavefinder is packaged with 4 conductive electrodes, to define a rectangular surface. Because of the 20 m cable, which the electrodes are connected to the device, a maximum area of 800 square meters in a single measurement will be investigated.


During the measurement with the Cavefinder cavity detector be carried out several resistance measurements to provide conclusions on the existing cavities. The evaluation of the results in a short time of measurement can be done on the site repeated. The Cavefinder has the following functionalities:
