A group of archaeologists in Egypt announced the valuable discovery. During excavations in the temple complex of Luxor they discovered the head of a giant statue of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. She skillfully carved from pink granite. Head height is 2.5 meter!
The same statue itself, archaeologists found a few years earlier. Now they have the opportunity to join this magnificent creation of unknown ancient masters. Missing only one element — the ceremonial beard Pharaoh. She apparently broke away from the head. Scientists do not lose hope to find and that missing piece.
