Automatic Ground Tracking
AGT is the system that can detect changes in ground mineralization and automatically obtain an optimal compensation effect floor. This ensures the perfect detector detection depth and avoids the prospector to stop and manually adjust the machine at each change of composition of the soil .
Very Low Frequency
VLF technology is the transmission frequency usually used on detectors : 3 to 50KHz . Minelab built detectors that operate above 50 kHz and below 3 kHz , so you get a greater depth , greater sensitivity and performance regardless of the type of sensor you plan to undertake.
Broad Band Spectrum
The majority of devices operate on one or sometimes only two frequencies. BBS Minelab technology uses 17 different frequencies ranging from 1.5 to 25.5 kHz. This gives you a greater depth of detection, discrimination and increased sensitivity.
Full Band Spectrum
The FBS is the latest development of the multi- frequency Minelab BBS technology. This technology exclusively developed by Minelab allows greater depth detection and improves target identification in most soil types. FBS refers to the simultaneous use of 28 frequencies in the range from 1.5 kHz to 100 kHz.La FBS technology is locate targets more varied and ever greater depths .
Multi- Period Sensing
MPS technology (exclusive Minelab ) uses an alternating long and short pulse sequence which modulates the magnetic field penetrating the soil , causing a response variable objects in turn creating their own magnetic field . This means that you can locate metal targets at a depth four times larger than a conventional detector, and small targets can still be found in difficult terrain .
MPS technology improves the accuracy of ground balance , which limits the number of ghost signals .
Dual Voltage Technology
DVT refers to the change in voltage used to create the electromagnetic field emitted by the coil of the disc towards the ground. Through the use of two different voltages , the possibility of a magnetic saturation of the soil is minimized. And detectors using DVT have increased to eliminate ground mineralization possibility to increase the depth and enhance sensitivity compared to other detectors.
VFLEX
This technology uses the best digital mixed-signal components to enhance standard single frequency technology of replacing most analog circuits with digital circuits. Analog circuits have used have been very carefully designed and calibrated for outstanding performance in terms of sensitivity , stability and repeatability.

The VFLEX technology requires the use of very well built and calibrated discs. At each start-up of the detector, the microcontroller of the control unit and the disc communicate with one another by a digital link .
The information about the disc is transmitted to the control box . Thus the detector ” know ” what type of disc is used and may, therefore , properly adjust the operating parameters . This optimizes performance and makes the detector capable of receiving discs of different frequencies.
